Apprentice project 2021/2022

Our trainee Felix Wölfert presented KSV in the Rhein-Zeitung in the section “Reading the newspaper makes trainees fit”.
My name and age: Felix Wölfert, 18 years old.
My school-leaving certificate: In the summer of 2021, I obtained my technical college entrance qualification.
My apprenticeship: I am training to be an electronics technician for industrial engineering.
Year of apprentices hip: I’m in my first year.
What interests me about this job: I am particularly interested in the varied and independent work on electronic systems.
Training company, location: KSV Koblenzer Steuerungs- und Verteilungsbau GmbH, 50672 Koblenz.
Number of employees: KSV currently employs around 145 people.
What isspecial about the company: The family atmosphere with colleagues and the active involvement in the various projects characterize the company.
That’s why I applied for an apprenticeship here: I applied to KSV because of my interest in electronic systems and because of the regional ties. Number of apprenticeships offered per year: As a rule, six apprenticeships and one dual study program are advertised.
Other apprenticeships: Electronics technician for industrial engineering (dual study program possible), technical system planner, industrial clerk (dual study program possible), warehouse logistics specialist.
Opportunities to be taken on after training: As a rule, only as many apprentices are trained as can be taken on.
How to apply for an apprenticeship: You can apply for an apprenticeship by sending an e-mail to karriere@ksv-koblenz.de Duration of the apprentices hip: As a rule, the apprenticeship lasts three and a half years.
Shortening the apprenticeship is (not) possible under these conditions: Shortening the apprenticeship is possible with good school performance or with a corresponding school-leaving certificate.
I complete my training in these departments: In the production areas of control, sub-distribution, NSHV, e-mobility, warehouse.
I attend this vocational school: BBS Carl-Benz-Schule Koblenz.
The lessons take place in this form: In part-time lessons on one and a half days per week.
Training allowance: The salary is based on the IG Metall collective agreement for the electrical trade.
These skills are important for the apprenticeship: ability to work in a team, independence, manual dexterity.
There arethese opportunities for further training: Master electrical engineer, electrical engineering technician, electrical engineering degree.
What I plan to do after my apprenticeship: After completing my apprenticeship, I would first like to gain professional experience and then possibly start further training.
This is the area I would like to work in later: As an electronics technician in the control distribution production area This is how I read the newspaper: I usually read the newspaper in digital form in the evening.
What I always read first: The topics and news “From the region”. Regularly reading the news offers these advantages: By reading constantly, I always stay up to date and am always informed about current events.
The newspaper should also offer this for young people: More appealing topics for young people.
