KSV Koblenz is now (once again) UL Panel Shop certified and offers standards-compliant control and distribution solutions for projects in the U.S. and Canada.

KSV Koblenzer Steuerungs- und Verteilungsbau GmbH has successfully completed the process of joining the UL Panel Shop Program, thereby strengthening its position as a qualified partner for international control and switchgear manufacturing.

With UL certification, KSV meets the relevant requirements for the North American market and is authorized to design, manufacture, and label control cabinets in accordance with UL Standard UL 508A. For customers, this means a high degree of planning reliability for projects intended for use in the United States or Canada.

The successful audit confirms KSV’s high standards in the areas of design, manufacturing processes, documentation, and quality assurance. At the same time, it lays the groundwork for implementing international projects more efficiently and significantly facilitating market access for customers.

“With UL Panel Shop certification, we make it much easier for our customers to complete projects in North America safely and on schedule,” said Andreas Frink, Managing Director of KSV. “We combine our many years of experience in control and distribution panel construction with the requirements of the UL standard—thereby creating real added value for machine builders, plant manufacturers, and operators.”

With this new certification, KSV is consistently expanding its service portfolio and further strengthening its position as a reliable partner for sophisticated control and distribution solutions—from regional projects to international facilities.

Scorecard is published

This year, we were once again awarded the bronze award for our commitment to sustainability. This puts us in the top 35% of all companies that underwent an assessment in 2025.
The assessment is carried out by EcoVadis, an independent platform that analyzes companies based on criteria such as the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The aim is to make sustainability performance comparable and highlight development potential.
The award confirms the path we have taken so far and motivates us to continue to critically review our measures and develop them further in a targeted manner.

KSV Koblenzer Steuerungs- und Verteilungsbau GmbH took part in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) again in 2025 and was awarded a “B” rating for its transparency and commitment to climate protection.
This makes us one of around 20,000 companies that were assessed by CDP in 2025. In total, more than 22,100 companies worldwide submitted their environmental data in the same year.
With our award, we were able to achieve the best rating in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) category, putting us above the industry and regional average.
CDP is a leading independent global environmental organization whose ratings are used by investors and companies to make sustainable and climate-related decisions.
This award confirms our commitment to firmly anchoring sustainability and responsibility in our corporate strategy.
